Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin have taken their home improvements a step further – they've bought a third property in their London street.

The pair bought the house beside their luxurious residence in the British capital in 2007 and were granted permission from local authorities to knock the two multi-million dollar residences together to create an $11.2 million superhouse with 33 rooms.

But the actress and Coldplay singer have now expanded their property empire by purchasing an apartment on the other side of their original home, which they will use to house their staff, according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper.
The news will dismay residents in the area – the stars upset neighbors earlier this month (Jan10) after revealing plans to replace a wooden fence with a 10-foot (three-meter) barrier around their home.

One resident tells the publication, "As neighbors, we have had years of their building works. Now the fence is just going to look ridiculous and we plan to object. They are turning a Victorian house into a fortress. They have taken down trees so they can park their flash cars in the driveway and are putting a huge swimming pool in the back garden. They said the trees were diseased but you can say anything when you have that amount of money. They are using their power and riches to get what they want."

British singer Lily Allen has sparked rumors she plans to try for a baby during her upcoming hiatus – after telling fans she is feeling broody.

The Smile hitmaker told the audience during a performance in Sydney, Australia on Thursday (21Jan10) that she's desperate to have kids with boyfriend Sam Cooper.
Last year (09), the pop star announced she will take a break from touring and recording after her final shows in London in March (10) so she can pursue her dream of running her own record label.

Now she has sparked speculation she also plans to use her time away from the stage to start a family.

Allen told the audience in Sydney, "I want to have a baby. I'm not saying I'm pregnant now. Shut up, Lily. Shut up, Lily. That's the sort of stuff that gets me into trouble I suppose."

PARIS HILTON is planning to boost her assets with a new range of cleavage -enhancing underwear.
The socialite has amassed a business empire which includes a shoe collection, fragrances, handbags, hair extensions and clothes.
Now Hilton is adding her to entrepreneurial ventures with a new range of lingerie and swimwear, which will launch later this year (10).
And the flat-chested star, who opted out of a breast enhancement operation because she was scared of surgery, is especially pleased with her design for a push-up bra.
She says, "In my lingerie line, I have a bra that I designed for flat-chested girls and it makes your boobs look huge! People think it's fake boobs. Everyone's like, 'Did you E2 80 A6?' I'm like 'No!' It makes me look like a double-D. I'm flat chested compared to most girls in Hollywood."

A rep for MISCHA BARTON has dismissed reports the actress behaved "unprofessionally" while filming a new episode of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT.

The actress, who is playing a prostitute in a guest role on the TV series, allegedly upset cast and crew after repeatedly forgetting her lines while shooting earlier this week (18Jan10).

The former O.C. star is said to have frustrated her co-star Mariska Hargitay by relying on her for cues to finish their scene. A source tells the New York Daily News, "People close to her were hopin g this would get her back on track. But it looks like she's going to need yet another chance."

But a spokesperson for Barton insists there have been no problems: "Everything's going swimmingly on set." Barton's last TV venture, U.S. fashion drama The Beautiful Life, was cancelled after just two episodes.

Comedian Russell Brand has proposed to his pop star girlfriend Katy Perry, according to U.K. reports.
Brand, who began dating Perry in September (09), sparked rumors he would settle down with the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker after he was photographed shopping for a diamond ring at a Cartier jewellery store earlier this month (Dec09).
According to Britain's Daily Mirror, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star proposed during Perry's trip to his native Britain last week (begs21Dec09).
A source says, "He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes.
"They don't know when the wedding will be but they are planning to make it in 2010 if the schedules can work. Russell is ­searching for a jewellery designer to create a ring in time for the New Year."
 

Organisers behind Rihanna's upcoming New Year's Eve gig (31Dec09) in the United Arab Emirates have dismissed reports they've ordered the singer to tone down her act.
Tabloid reports suggest the Umbrella singer is set to cover up for her concert at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi to avoid offending any conservative fans.
But bosses at events company Flash, the firm organising the gig, insist the rumors are "totally inaccurate".
A spokesperson says, "The facts recently reported around Rihanna's Abu Dhabi concert are totally inaccurate. Rihanna is bringing an incredible new stage show to the capital and there's no doubt the event will be fantastic; an ideal way to celebrate the beginning of a new decade."
